New Year’s Resolutions

It’s that time of year again!  Time to make long term plans that you’ll stick to 100% through January, only to quietly lose momentum come February.  I know we’re a little late with our post but we’ve been busy with our Youtube channel lately.

Here are our resolutions for 2015:

Play More Games – Our list of unplayed/unfinished games has been steadily growing over the years and it’s high time we put a stop to that.  Some of the games we’ve decided that we’re definitely going to try to cross off our list are:

  • Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag (PS3) – We started this one but couldn’t get very far into it.  It’s just a big change from the Assassin’s Creed that we’re used to, and it might take us a while to push through it.
  • Assassin’s Creed: Rogue (PS3) – Bought this on Black Friday but haven’t started it yet.  We want to wait until we complete Black Flag if possible.
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition (PC) – Another Black Friday purchase.  This one we’ve been avoiding because we know it’s going to eat all of our free time.  Right now we have things we need to focus on and can’t get sidetracked.
  • Resident Evil (GameCube) – This was a fun game when I was a kid, but I don’t remember finishing it.  We recently bought this with hopes that we might be able to do a let’s play series on it once we get the recording hardware that we need.

Review More Games – Playing games is great and all, but a blog that just talks about playing games is kinda silly.  Most people can go buy a game and play it if they want.  We want to provide useful information to our readers to help them understand what a game is about before buying it.  We want to review newer games, but we wont be avoiding older games.  After all, you can still buy older games, so they deserve reviews as well.

Post More – We’ve been slacking a little here on the blog, and we want to do what we can to post more often.  Instead of just using the blog passively and posting whenever something cool comes up, we need to post on a regular basis if we can.

Reach 100 Youtube Subscribers – Not sure if this one is doable or not but we’re going to shoot for it.  We’re mostly doing the Youtube channel for fun, but if we can provide content that people actually enjoy, it’ll be even more exciting.  While on that subject, if you ever have any comments or suggestions, please let us know.  We love hearing feedback and will do our best to make sure we’re providing the content our subscribers want to see.
