Around the beginning of December, my mom moved into a new house for the umpteenth time. During the move, we tried to sort through some of my old boxes to see what was really worth keeping. There was a lot of junk, as one would expect, but a few really cool things were dug up as well.
One of those things just happened to be my step dad’s old PlayStation and a box of games.
With all the holiday madness that ensued the rest of December, we only recently managed to get it set up with the rest of our systems. It works like brand new, though the visuals in many of the games are pretty cringe-worthy. This brings our console count to 8 (9 if you count the Wii’s internal GameCube):
- Sega Genesis
Some might say it’s silly to have all those, but we don’t feel that way. Having each one in working condition is pretty cool to us.
The dust bunnies that dwell on all those wires behind the entertainment center probably think it’s cool too . . .
